The "Hohes Schloss" (Castle) in Füssen
The “Hohes Schloss” (Castle) of Füssen towers majestically over the town and is one of the most important late Gothic castle complexes in Swabia. With its striking towers and artistic illusion paintings on the facades, it is a real gem of the region. Originally built as the summer residence of the prince-bishops of Augsburg, the castle still radiates impressive splendor and grandeur to this day.
State and picture galleries in the High Castle
