"Füssen - where ice hockey is at home": Known as the cradle of German ice hockey, the town still attracts professionals and amateurs to the ice, and not just for skating with stick and puck. EV Füssen is the 16-time German ice hockey champion and is often praised for its successful youth work. The ice rink is home to the national ice hockey and curling base. So if you go ice skating here, you are in the best of company and can feel like a pro. But there is a lot on offer: Public skating and super ice disco, large skate rental, figure skating lessons, curling, rousing ice hockey derbies and international curling tournaments are all on the program in Füssen.

Painting galleries in the High Castle

Man blickt in einen Saal mit weißen Wänden, einem historischen Holzboden und einer reich verzierten, dunkelblauen Holzdecke. Das Muster der Decke ist wabenförmig. Die Kanten der Waben sind erhaben und mit roten Umrandungen versehen. Innerhalb jeder Wabe ist eine, in Gold gearbeitete, kirchliche Person zu sehen. Man sieht Heiligenfiguren, aber auch Bischöfe und Päpste. An den Wänden hängen historische Gemälde mit unterschiedlichen Themen. Der Raum ist, bis auf eine moderne mit schwarzem Leder bezogene Bank in der Mitte, nicht möbliert. Auf der Bank sitzt eine Frau und blickt auf die Gemälde.

Man blickt entlang des Gebäudes des Museums der bayerischen Könige. Im Hintergrund erheben sich die Berge. Der Bergwald beginnt, davor ist der Alpsee zu sehen. Am Ufer des Alpsees sieht man die Terrasse des Restaurants Alpenrose am See. Unter Sonnenschirmen sieht man mehrere Personen an Tischen sitzen. Links und rechts neben dem grünen Portal des Museums stehen zwei lebensgroße, steinerne Löwen.
