King Ludwig hike
Royal hiking pleasures
Even the Bavarian "fairytale king" Ludwig II and his family loved walking around Füssen and the royal castles. Away from the typical tourist routes, you too can discover one of the most beautiful Bavarian hiking regions on the favorite routes of the royal summer guests.
Route: Füssen - Quagliograb at Sebastian's cemetery - Theresienbrücke - Maxsteg at Lechfall - Alpenrosenweg - Pindarplatz at Alpsee.
Afterwards, if you wish and have the time, you can choose between a regular guided tour:
a) to Hohenschwangau Castle
b) at Neuschwanstein Castle
c) both castles or a visit to the Museum of the Bavarian Kings.
Set off and experience the joys of royal hiking!
