Life track Lech
The "Lech Trail of Life" is a cross-border health tourism experience between the Austrian Tyrol and the Bavarian Allgäu. The EU project connects the four partners Lechweg, Füssen im Allgäu, Lechtaler Auszeitdörfer and Holzgau/Tyrol. The "Lech Trail of Life" runs along the Lechweg long-distance hiking route, which follows the wild river from its source in Lech am Arlberg to the Lech Falls in Füssen for around 125 kilometers. All activities are based on Kneipp's health teachings with their five pillars of water, exercise, nutrition, herbs and a focus on inner order.
The healing power of nature
If you follow the "LechLife Trail", you can experience Kneipp, sleep better, feel mindfulness, find time out at numerous stations and encounter comprehensive Kneipp expertise in many places: whether on a herbal tour in Holzgau in the Lech Valley or at one of the Füssen sleep hosts - numerous Kneipp health trainers have been trained along the"Lech Life Trail" and pass on their knowledge to interested parties. The wild river Lech not only connects the regions across borders, it also symbolizes the power of nature, which has a healing effect on people suffering from stress.
Life track Lech in Füssen in the Allgäu
In the portal town of Füssen, the focus is on the balance of body, mind and soul. The mainstay of Füssen's health offerings are the Kneipp pillars of movement, water and, above all, inner order. In various Kneipp experience areas, visitors can enjoy exercise trails, Kneipp treading pools and islands of tranquillity. Certified sleep hosts offer specially equipped guest rooms and coordinated services on the subject of good and healthy sleep in their accommodation.
