Skiing and snowboarding
The Tegelberg ski arena, for example, is ideal as a family ski area - from the beginners' slope at the Adlerlift to the Reithlift. Skiing in the Allgäu and beyond is offered by the "Vitales Land" ski association.
Snowboarders are also attracted to the enjoyment areas around Füssen. The fun parks on the Alpspitze and on the Hahnenkamm in Reutte promise extra snowboarding fun.
Free of charge on the slopes
With the KönigsCard , you can even ski and snowboard for free. Three hours of skiing on selected lifts in the Allgäu are included for stays of two nights or more. You can find the list of ski resorts directly on the KönigsCard website.
Ski touring in the Allgäu
The ascent with touring skis is now very popular with skiers in the secured area . Many ski resorts have defined and signposted their own ascent routes for this purpose. For example, the ski touring trail on the Tegelberg.
Avalanche equipment and training outside the ski areas are very important in addition to technical skills. The German Alpine Association and various mountain sports schools offer appropriate courses.

Tobogganing in the Allgäu
There are many beautiful natural toboggan runs around Füssen, such as the Buchenbergalm above Buching. The ascent from the Buchenbergbahn parking lot takes around 1.5 hours, or 10 minutes on the chairlift. The Breitenberg also offers tobogganing fun for young and old!

- The condition of every natural toboggan run depends on the weather and can change quickly.
- Observethe instructions for use and signs .
- Sturdy shoes with treaded soles, warm and waterproof trousers and jacket, gloves.
- Be considerate.
- If you fall, leave the toboggan run immediately together with your sledge.
- Do not stop at blind spots.
- When ascending, walk one behind the other at the edge of the toboggan run.
